Advocacy

Drawing on the painful personal experiences of our members who married early and missed their childhood and education; we working with local communities and civil society organisations in the UK and Ethiopia to change attitudes away from early marriage to education for girls as long term insurance against poverty.

We lobby the British Members of Parliament and their European Union partners to support initiates aims at tackling mother and child poverty through education.  We network and collaborate with development and women’s rights, and share workshops, share knowledge and experiences. We carry out research and produce reports on the impacts of child marriage on individuals and Ethiopia as a nation.
